INVICTUS MIND-BODY INTEGRATION THERAPY
PLLC
For First Responders
Having been a police officer myself for 11 years of my life and a SWAT team member for 5 of those 11 years, I experienced the good, the bad, and the ugly. I left the job in 2017, exactly 11 years after my hire date because it was time for me to start a new career and help my brothers and sisters in a different capacity. I am not only a former first responder but I married one as well. My husband is a firefighter/paramedic so I get to experience the life of a first responder spouse as well.
My desire is to give back to my community and to my fellow responders by providing support, understanding, compassion, and healing. In the process, I hope you feel how important you are and the difference that you make each and every day.
I work with families of first responders as well as first responders and retirees or former responders.
I am looking forward to starting this journey together and building a trusting and supportive relationship.
Measures I take to ensure confidentiality are as follows:
-I have two different waiting rooms so if I know you are coming in before or after a first responder, I will place you in a separate room so your paths do not cross.
-I keep minimal notes (enough to help me help you, but not too much that it can ever be used against you)
-I do not report to your superiors
-I will not disclose to anyone that I am working with you unless you request it in writing and we have discussed this first
-If I see you out and about I will not acknowledge that I know you unless you acknowledge me first and let me know that it is ok to say hello.
-Although I cannot promise I will never be subpoenaed to court by a Judge, I can promise that I will have an attorney who will help me protect your best interest

I look forward to serving you as you serve others.
